Executive Director, Safety & Pharmacovigilance

A company is looking for an Executive Director, Safety & Pharmacovigilance.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the global safety and pharmacovigilance strategy across all development stages

Oversee all pharmacovigilance activities including case processing, signal detection, and risk management

Ensure compliance with global safety regulations and partner in regulatory interactions and inspections

Required Qualifications

MD degree

12+ years of experience in pharmacovigilance and drug safety, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

Direct experience supporting cell therapy or gene therapy preferred

Strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and safety standards

Proven ability to balance compliance, scientific rigor, and business priorities
