We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Safety Manager to champion a culture of safety excellence across our manufacturing operations. In this vital role, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs that promote occupational health, ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, and foster a safe working environment for all employees. Your expertise will help prevent accidents, reduce risks, and support our commitment to worker well-being through effective training, incident investigation, and safety leadership. We specialize in manufacturing long-lasting, dependable precast and prestressed concrete products that exceed quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations to ensure regulatory compliance across all manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Facilitate safety training sessions and development programs to enhance workers' knowledge of occupational health practices, CPR, first aid, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain detailed safety documentation including report writing for incidents, inspections, audits, and compliance records.
  • Collaborate with management and workers’ compensation law experts to manage claims efficiently and promote a safe work environment.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing safety data trends and recommending proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and occupational health principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and report writing related to safety incidents.
  • Certification in first aid, CPR, or OSHA safety training is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of workers’ compensation law and experience managing workers’ compensation claims is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging training & development sessions tailored to diverse teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $81,250.00 - $125,420.00 per year
