Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Supervisor with 5 years of experience in the construction industry. Located in Joda, the role involves overseeing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Daily responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, implementing safety training programs, investigating and reporting accidents, and identifying potential hazards. The Safety Supervisor will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe and compliant work environment for construction workers and staff.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
• Experience in designing and delivering Safety Training programs
• Familiarity with Safety Engineering principles and applications
• Expertise in Accident Investigation and the ability to implement corrective actions
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams
• Ability to assess and mitigate workplace risks effectively
• Knowledge of construction industry regulations and standards
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in occupational health, safety, construction management, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in safety management (e.g., Diploman or ADIS) .
