Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise regarding internal EHS programs, policies, and procedures,
• Support staff (internal) with existing construction safety programs, as it related to installation of solar panels at ground level.
• Provide expertise to help evaluate, identify, and reduce risk and losses through the application of environmental, health, and safety principles and regulatory expertise.
• Conduct or coordinate reviews of follow-up expectations and activities, as appropriate, and track corrective items on agreed timelines to closure, using client's electronic Procure and velocity EHS systems
• Facilitate the implementation of prevention and risk reduction programs to improve safety and health programs, policies, and procedures
• Provide technical training on unsafe acts identified in the field and toolbox talks, if requested by site team and awareness of construction safety practices relating to health and safety.

Requirements

• OSHA 30 hour for Construction is required
• Approximately 40 hours per week for 26 weeks
• Travel within the state of Maine required
• Location - Augusta, ME area (all sites are within approximately 1.5 hours or less from Augusta)
