Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Safety Officer located in Airdrie, AB. The Field Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing health and safety policies, conducting occupational health assessments, performing accident investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The individual will design and deliver safety training programs and actively collaborate with various departments to uphold workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and related fields
• Skills in Accident Investigation and Security to manage and mitigate risks
• Proficiency in designing and delivering effective Safety Training programs
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential
• Ability to work effectively on-site and engage with teams in a collaborative environment
• Certifications in safety-related disciplines (e.g., CRSP, NCSO) are an asset
• Experience in municipal or public sector environments is a plus
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel to various sites when needed
